Laura Espinosa (b. 2003, Colombia) is a figurative artist represented by Martin House Gallery (USA), currently based in Italy. Working primarily with oil paint, her practice is rooted in the tradition of classical realism, yet deeply engaged with the emotional and philosophical depth that painting can reveal.

A graduate with honors from the Florence Academy of Art, Laura was recognized for her outstanding achievements, including the award for Best Painting of the Year. She is currently part of the Academy’s Graduate-in-Residence Program, where she continues to refine her artistic voice while contributing as part of the teaching faculty.

Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in London, Madrid, Florence, North Carolina, and Valencia, and she has received multiple awards and distinctions recognizing her excellence in figurative art. Alongside her studio practice, she occasionally leads workshops in Italy and Spain, sharing her knowledge and approach with artists and students drawn to the timeless language of realism.

Through each painting, Laura seeks not only to capture a likeness, but to convey the quiet poetry of human experience—inviting viewers to reflect, connect, and rediscover beauty through stillness and intention.
